Not a clue, never heard of them, but found this>>>> The Essex is a trade name for shotguns made by the Crescent-Davis Firearms Co. on shotguns made for the Belknap Hardware Co of Louisville, Kentucky. There were a couple of dozen various models made and without knowledge of exactly which model that you have I can only advise that the average retail value of one in "good" condition varies from about $350 to $600.
