awen 29
a friend of mine shot a munty on his permission and gave me the legs for the dogs, on the same day i took them out and they pushed a munty out straight away and now its almost a daily occurance , my lurcher pup is real keen on em now so im having to keep her on her lead so she dont take em. i can see this could be a very effective way of hunting deer in thick cover and wondered if anyone else has used or know of this method bein used. cheers folks awen Edited November 22, 2009 by awen Quote Link to post

mart 131
had a go this weekend with two parsons and a drever. the parsons pushed the roes out for the drever, who is basically a beagle/dachsbracke/teckel mix. worked out pretty well and one roe was shot for one of the parsons alone. we also use them for bloodtracking. eira and roedeer Quote Link to post
