bushin and flushin deer with terriers

Recommended Posts

a friend of mine shot a munty on his permission and gave me the legs for the dogs, on the same day i took them out and they pushed a munty out straight away and now its almost a daily occurance :wallbash: , my lurcher pup is real keen on em now so im having to keep her on her lead so she dont take em. i can see this could be a very effective way of hunting deer in thick cover and wondered if anyone else has used or know of this method bein used. cheers folks awen :whistling:

had a go this weekend with two parsons and a drever.

the parsons pushed the roes out for the drever, who is basically a beagle/dachsbracke/teckel mix.

worked out pretty well and one roe was shot for one of the parsons alone.

we also use them for bloodtracking.
