.204 Caliber.

not a true 204, but a .20tactical, and its awesome.

 

just had it built for me, 20" pacnor barrel full length fluted, powder bead blasted,the action is a mini mauser short action (223) stock is a bell and carlson sport-er, pillar bedded and fully floated by myself.scope is a Bushnell banner 6-18x50,

 

load is a a 40gr hornady vmax.set at 5thou of the lands

 

24gr of rl10x

 

Dakota brass

 

cc1 400 primmer

 

running about 3800 fps+ some.

 

longest shot was last night a furry grass eating hole digging golf course monster at 312 yards. mincemeat.

hi bob

 

its only 6lb unscoped as i wanted a light rifle for when i was tabbin around, it does move around a bit but i like it like that, i can watch the target impact as the recoil does not cause you to loose the sight picture,

 

the rifle is a Mckillop rifles .20tac, and i hope to have another one of niels made next year a .20br

Now I can see why you are so excited about it, I have only known Neil for just over a year but he has already done some first class work for me and others I have put on to him.

 

Can't believe it took me so long to find him, and he is only 7 miles from me.
