ferretman16 0 Posted November 25, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 25, 2009 really mate its down to the individual ferret. i have worked both hobs and jills and have very good results with both. both have different advatages, for example a hob is bigger and is less likely to be kicked about but if a rabbit gets "dead ended", the jill can get round him easier to bout him. also i find that if the jill lies up, dropping the hob in will knock her off the rabbit and both will come out, it saves on digging. bump Quote Link to post
nellie123 4 Posted November 26, 2009 Report Share Posted November 26, 2009 hi i have had some cracking hobs ,i find they seem to shift reluctant bolters whereas the jills seem to struggle and lie up sometimes.i ve also found them to be alot more thorough and steady.having said that i have a blinding jill at the moment that never lets us down,and a hob that cant seem to settle down to the job in hand.atb nellie Quote Link to post
