bushranger 19
Hello we have had jacks -a terrier cross -and a patterdale... short time ago a good friend of us offered a pup bitch from a litter that he had.. they were Kerry blue from KC registered lines..but my wife wanted a new terrier at home after loosing our old terrier cross last year ..I didn't knew very much about that breed but our pup parents looked to me very active & strong temperament terriers .. Actually shes 5 months old ..we will see what happens with her in the field in companion of our two terriers in the future.. Who knows about hunting with kerry blue terriers ? I only have heard about Kerry cross and of course a lot of history of bygone days... (Here a pic When she was 2 months old in breeder's home) Quote Link to post

sounder79 80
they were meant to be good at one time but that was a long time ago.good luck with it though Quote Link to post
jigsaw 11,899
They were never any good for anything but rats and sneaky bites, they make good guard dogs but are nasty on the whole(especially if they bite ye on the hole).I saw a few over the years,I saw one have it out with a wheaten dog,he did well for a 2 minute period and then shit the course and suffered badly for starting the argument, dont get yer hopes up unless you are into ratting. cúagusgiorraí 57
I think they were just a colour variant of the wheaten or irish terrier, but then were singled out by show breeders, and bred for coat colour. But I have heard of some deadly kerry cross greyhounds. Quote Link to post
