Guest Daks Posted November 20, 2009 Report Share Posted November 20, 2009 (edited) hi guys, i have lent an electric collar off my mate for my 8 month old pup who does as he likes and bugger me trying to get him to do what i want is...sorry was impossible, he was doing my head in the other night so i thought oh bugger it and took im out with the lamp and collar on!!! i got to the field and thought this isnt a good idea really as he's young still but then the old "aahhh stuff it he's getting a slip see what he does" set in more out of curiosity really, i noticed a squatter in the middle of the field so walked up to about 10metres away, on with the lamp, bunny moved dog was slipped..... i swear to god my dog was like a bloody bullet!!!! fair enough he couldnt turn it very well but he got it on the straight line and even brung it back to within 2metres of me i was well impressed considering i havent even done any retrieving training yet!!! fluke i thought so found another and slipped him again, he got that one too and returned to me although this time he wasnt so keen on letting me get to it or ot let go so i took hold of it and let him have a munch for a few secs then told him "NO leave it" and he did, eventually as he was wel excited, i couldnt believe it he caught 4 in total and i was proud as punch thats it though he isnt doing anything else now until he's at least a year well 11 mnths as i am off down to oxford with him for a look out!!! heres some pics Edited November 20, 2009 by Daks Quote Link to post
