Woodpigeons etc in stovepipe trap?

Recommended Posts

Hi

Heard about this trap thats seems almost too good to be true but only ever heard about it used on grouse and pheasant. I did a demo with one of my ducks and worked fine aswell but i was wondering if anyone has ever caught any other birds in this trap design. Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

cheers

is that the one which is just a short length of ppipe with one end covered in chicen wire so the bird goes in bt cant get out?

if so i suppose it could work if you could encourage them to feed, you would need a slightly smaller pipe than for pheasants and stuff worth a try i guess.
