Conditions were perfect toinight took my pup sarah

ive not done much with her at night as the last few times

she has hunted up in the dark on her own dose my head in!

so ive left the night work with her for a while.

tonight she was a diffrent animal,tho she did hunt up a little she realized the was

much more fun at the end of the beam,i love watching them learn.

i like the way sarah runs, she cuts the rabbits off and knows when to slow down

instead of over shooting

dont think ive ever had a lurcher with as strong prey drive

and i dont think she will ever be soft mouthed .

all in all a good night.

natter i was lead to belive her shire was a firstx

the dam was a 3/8 5/8

so that would make 9/16 grey 7/16 bull

but looking how she has turned out i think she is to racy

for that %and to look at her litter sister she is even more racy looking

so my guess is they are more 3/8 5/8,not to botherd

they have turned out fine for me

Nice one lofti, I liked the look of the bitch when i saw her run in the simulated coursing at the earthdog running dog show.

It sounds like she runs like my whippet Vixen on the lamp, only running as fast as she needs to and cutting them off. It's not long before the penny drops it's just a matter of getting them out, as they say practice makes perfect..

had a good night myself i think the penny has dropped with my bitch now she ran last night asif she'd been doing it for a while.down the beam alot better still yapps abit on first of couple of slips but after that fine she manage half a dozen rabbits,me and my mate got 20 rabbits altogether not a bad nite.
