best dry food to feed my hopefuly pregnat border

Recommended Posts

hi people,just to add my pennies worth;

many of our dogs we`ve had over the years have died from some form of cancer,we have put this down to feeding them a complete dog food (in my opinion)i feel that theres not much goodness in most of these products.

for my grandad had many a dogs,which were always bought up on scraps,and none died of any desease,just old age or killed by an accident.also my dads dogs were bought up the same way and had the same results.

I think that feeding complete is more of a fashion that feeding raw. After all its convient for people, just a cup full out of the bag and job done. Even neat poo bundles as a result of feeding complete! Whereas with raw there is more preparation involved. I feed my terrier raw mince and veg.

I overheard a conversation at a local terrier show of a guy who was having trouble with his terrier talking to a terrier/lurcher expert on feeding and when the guy asked what he was feeding his terrier the guy replied bakers complete. With a gasp the expert said get your dog off that rubbish its so full of additives/preservatives its like feeding your child a bag full of 'e' numbers. He advised to feed raw.

So the feeding of years ago is now becoming the way forward to a healthier stronger longer living dog.

Thanks Tillylamp
