Mally has taken hundreds of photo's of my dogs, and I've posted them on many forums, with pride, as they are so good. Then one day I was browsing e-bay, and there was a pic of my bitch adorning everything from mouse mats to teapots !!! I told Mally and he contacted e-bay and the vendor and had them removed. Another time, a magazine dropped through my door, and there was a pic of my dog advertising a Game Fair, in a country I have never even visited !! The images had obviously been lifted from forums on the internet.....It's not on !! It is his livelyhood, he is a professional photographer and I know he has spent a lot of money on equipment and works hard at what he does. But this latest thing; taking an image and claiming it is your dog, and having it on the same site as you lifted it from, is taking the piss !!!

Cheers.

He has done - two posts up, but not named him...

I'll say again, in case theres any blondes here, lets see the picture that the unknown member has photoshopped and is claiming is his own, not the picture that is above my last post, as you'd have to be dumb to miss that

In my opinion that's fine - saving a pic because you love it, maybe to show to people who aren't forum members or whatever. It's only the same as, say, cutting a picture out of a magazine and keeping it, for the same reason. I don't think many photographers would object to that, and most would be pleased that their shot had such an impact.

When it becomes wrong is if you try and pass off the shot as your own for whatever reasons, either posting it elsewhere or selling it on for commercial gain. That's when it all gets a bit shady.

Just my opinion, mind!
