Early cubs

Just spoke to a couple of lads with terriers,over the weekend they dug to a heavy vixen ,another I know of did the same and when it was dealt with they opened her up full of cubs..Now thats very early in this region.Glad we check before shooting them

at that rate they will be breeding all year have to check them or you will be killing your sport

BEEN SOME CUBS SEEN NOT FAR FROM ME FARMER SEEN HEAVY VIXEN SOME TIME AGO NATURE CAN BE STRANGE DONT THINK THIS EARLY REPORTS OF CUBS IS GOOD REGARDS DABCHICK :thumbdown:

Ano things like this cant be helped but id like to think that if we ever came across a pregnant vixen we would release it, only if it was all good and well that is lol, cheers.

protecting game birds? no releasing. global warming is causing allsorts of anomalies. I caught a pregnant doe rabbit last night and doe rats breed year round.

Your right about the rabbits and rats, but what he is saying about the strange anomilies brought on by global warming is very true and un denieable, give me one other reason why a vixen would come in so earlie other than either a one in a million freak or the fact the world and the nature in it are constantly changing along with the temp and season changes

i think this weather we have now think owt can happen

was out the other night and there was 3foxes all together

fallowing each other about

after a while one tryed mounting the other so surley vixen in

season the all hell broke loose the third attact the other and the vixen

ran off into the wood with the 2others attacking each other :clapper:

things change in life but this was early by my standards if it was

in december i would have thought nowt but nov :thumbs:
