what age does every 1 star bulking their dogs up

what age do you start to runnn your dogs with the bike and start bulking them up mine are coming up to 7 months now so i was wondering when i need to start

start them now ,push bike ,c90? i pay a 5er for 12kg of meat of my local butcher i mix it with dry i think its the best way to bulk them up ,plenty of meat and exercise ,worm them regular keep them in good condition theyll bulk up in no time all the best .pal

only problem with feeding a lot of meat.........keeping up with wormers..........its like buying gold!! over priced

only problem with feeding a lot of meat.........keeping up with wormers..........its like buying gold!! over priced

go see your local butcher ,slaugher house,and greyhound man for the wormers is not gold mate its cheaper than shops and vet prices

Personally I wouldn't start pushing the dog until it's around 18 months. I've seen good dogs ruined by starting too young, it usually damages ligaments. Start working at about 12 months but not too much and don't bother trying to 'bulk him up', just feed properly and give the right amount of exercise.

A lot depends on the size and breeding of the dog but I personally wouldn't start biking until the skeleton has finished growing: about 12 months in smaller lurchers and up to 18 months in bigger dogs. Its not a good idea to try and put loads of muscle on to an immature frame: joints, bones and tendons all need to be adult size before loading with muscle.

yes but there not uselly run in compaison to a marathon runner more a series of sprints and all the best sprinters are very heavily muscled.
