PETEWINN 5
Double box which holds 2 jills in each side. Approximately 16 x 8 x 8 inches in size. Use 3/8" plywood and get the rest of the bits from Wilkinsons. Quote Link to post

That looks like a very good carrying box. How do you bow the back of the box without causing splitting? Any help would be appreciated!! Edited September 16, 2006 by Ron Weasley Quote Link to post

Guest Lurchers2006
Thanks for all the replys lads how do you make them curves at the back thanks Quote Link to post
Joe 2
My box was a first attempt and if I was making another I would consider making a timber frame inside to prevent the plywood from splitting. As for the curve I used thin ply about 3mm or 4mm, cut it to size, pushed it in, then screwed it from one side to the other. Quote Link to post

I also have one of those triangular "poachers boxes" myself and it's true it fits under your coat very nicely. So thanks a lot Timberproducts, due to your help the show went down a storm and they were all well chuffed with the boxes. Regards FT Quote Link to post
