FOXHUNTER 5,021
Went out last night on a small local pheasant shoot that I control the foxes on even though the moon was that bright you could read the words on a box of bullets in the dark. Bullshit to people who say you cant shoot foxes unless its dark and windy , you can shoot foxes on any night except obviuosly when its foggy. Quote Link to post
Guest baldie
Too right mate, i,ve shot more foxes on moonlit nights, than any other, i go out when i wish, i dont bother with the moon phases, it makes no difference to foxes, you just have to remember, that you are easier seen by them, thats all. Guest Frank
Good man. I shot 19, in one night, an all nighter, from dusk till dawn, 6 years ago, on a full moon lit night, without lamp, just a good S & B scope. They came to some very stinky bait. Never had a night like it since. Frank. Quote Link to post
Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Only the lurcher boys that need the black ,windy nights .Same as you blokes ,Ive had fox on every night condition ,including a real pea souper of a night when I was just glad to be out .Sat in the hedge with the lamp on permanent and squeaked .A fox came eventually to within several yards.
