intellegience in lurchers

Recommended Posts

My dog is completely brainless  he has the basics, the need to eat, sleep, eliminate, breed, hunt, but very little else

The bitch however can figure things out. Hard to describe the scenario on a PC, but she recently threw something at me to get my attention  She picks things up extremely quickly.

Numpty nuts only really shows signs of still being alive at feed time, when i get the lamp out or if a bitch is in season

MOLL.

the other day an old friend turned enemy said my dog was as thick as a lampost, i was not there at the time, the point is i want't to know how important is brains in a working dog, hes a colliexwhippetxgreyhound by the way so he's not really stupid.

if your lurcher does what you want him to do then he's clever enough. dont listen to begrudgers, you'll wreck your own head if you listen to lads like your mate. if your happy with your dog thats all that matters.
