Tangled nets

I've recently acquired a long net and two gate nets. They are quite badly tangled towards the ends where I think the bag has got bunched up and then somebody's had a go at un-tangling it.

 

Am I best undoing the runners, sorting the net out and then re-threading? I've struggled like hell to unravel them but not sure what's coming out of where...

Maybe easier doing that if it's near the end and they're only short nets. Just a case of keep going at it, will get there eventually. Or end up with slightly shorter nets when you take the scissors to em.

 

If it turns out you can't untangle without taking out the drawlines then you've nothing to lose by removing them.

It's only at the ends, I've tried passing the bag back over the knot at the end but it's been pulled through the meshes a few times...

Think it would be easier to cut the drawcord and rethread them to whatever size you want

Dont cut the drawcord just undo the knot and pull it through to the tangle, remove the tangle and rethread, job done.

I know exactly what you mean...The ends of the net have went back over itself, and when you try to untangle it it seems to go on and on and on...It happens very easy, Just take the draw cords out and back as far as the beginning of the tangle, and re thread, you can prevent it from happening again by tying a knot with the net and draw cord together as opposed to just knotting the cord on the net if that makes sense?
