Tyla 3,179
Thats exactly why i prefer bolting jills to killer hobs ! Thats pretty much the kind of dig we usually get on my ground, we just have trees roots to make it more fun! Had a nightmare last season, 7-8ft down through an old farm dump to get to a jill trapped in a cave in, not even a rabbit to make it worthwhile . its interesting how different approaches to acheive the same end develop based on local conditions No killer hob in this warren Tyla, I know the ground well. Tried playin safe with a jill, but sometimes things just dont work out, or the jills get too good. Thats what i mean, the way different things work in different locations. i went out with no nets today, just the spade, locator and the lurchers. i've not done it like that in ages but this particular place was very open and lent itself to it. Had no luck, due to a combination of flooding and a near miss for the dogs, but enjoyed it alot. Quote Link to post
