Phil Harrison 0
I have a bitch out of garys stuff and she is red and I have had a black and tan dog as well but never heard of black dogs coming from him. That's true but other stuff has been added by people who have got them over the years so they are based on the line the black ones i get come through Alan brookbanks old black bitch which was mated to Dave Roberts rip he got 3 i think colored bitches from this mating a red and white and i think black and white these are where the white came from in my old terriers and they were good ones its easy to say this is no good and thats no good a lot of dogs are ruined by the owners and never get a chance and there again its an impossible task to breed every thing thats good to great thats not how it works and there again if some one likes showing and fantasising about working them then there putting them on the market as working terriers they get a bad rap as a whole and all of a sudden the whole line is crap all though Garry made a lot of money out of show dogs but in the seventies and early eights he supplied some game terriers and i dug to many of them mine and others but after that period i cannot comment of the quality and gameness of what came after ATB Phil Edited November 17, 2009 by Phil Harrison Quote Link to post
