night moocher 41
iv;e had rabbits nailed close to entrance just before bolting, and i thik when the ferret has got hold and he will work towards the head of the rabbit which is facing daylight, and feeling no resistance behind him like earth or roots etc he will drag it out, just a natural reaction for a ferret to drag his prize away.
