rob190364 2,594
I know it sounds daft as ferrets would obviously eat rabbits in the wild but am I ok giving ferrets whole rabbit carcasses to eat or is it risky with bones etc? I'm assuming I'd be OK doing this? I'm thinking of cutting the rabbit into sections and freezing it so I can just thaw out a section and feed them with it each day. Quote Link to post

Mine wont eat full carcass no matter how long I leave it in, whether I gut and skin it or not so I have the painstaking task of stripping them. Darryl Quote Link to post

ONE OF THE BEST THINGS YOU COULD GIVE THEM MATE IVE BEEN FEEDING MINE WHOLE RABBITS FOR YEARS THEY GET A LOT OF RUFFAGE OUT OF THE BONES FUR ETC SAME AS THEY WOULD NATURALLY IN THE WILD BUT NOT FROM ANY FOOD YOU GET FROM THE SHOP .ALTHOUGH I DO GIVE MINE A MIXTURE OF SHOP BOUGHT AND KILLS.
