terrierman 1 0 Posted November 19, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 19, 2009 had my first trout after 3 months of starting fly fishing 2 pound 10 ounces rainbow at westlow mere conglton and my 2nd trout from chirk fishery 1 pound 15 ounces blue trout carnt wait to go agine only better it will get my nephews first on a fly was 18lb 10oz. lucy c**t good fish that mate bet it took some landing took me about 5mins to land mine and nakerd me arm Quote Link to post

Been down to Marton Heath a few times and caught 3 rainbows on my first time, had a great time, I'm just concentrating on my technique which has got very very sloppy (havent fished for 16 years). Nik_B 3,790 Posted December 3, 2009 Report Share Posted December 3, 2009 Had a 3 3/4 Lb rainbow at Weslow today, bloody amazing fun it was charging about all over the place completly different to the other trout fisheries I've been to. Very powerful and fit fish. Was a bit nippy but had a lovely day. Quote Link to post
