akton 15
I have recently gone to using duffus traps, having previously used the talpex,However I do not seem to be having the same catch rate when using this type of trap. The duffus seems to be getting full f soil and clogging up. any ideas as to what I am doing wrong??? having made sure the tunnel trap is set correctly and that no soil or anything is in both tunnels entry and exit. I am at a loss as to why this is happening Quote Link to post

ratattack 111
They aint set right if it keeps backfilling them, probably loose in the runs. If it is full then leave the trap in place, mr mole will forget the trap is there and "unblock" his run getting caught as he does so Quote Link to post

dogs-n-natives 1,182
If the traps are firing properly and dont have any foreign scent on them, then they should be catching if set right. Quote Link to post
akton 15
traps are working ok,but its just all the backfill,When using the talpex and scissor traps my catch rate is ok,but since using the duffus its not as good, and my problems are that the mole seems to be backfilling. anyway maybe its just me,Im doing something wrong and need to know why the mole is backfilling the trap any suggestions Quote Link to post

davedavedave 69
I would stick with scissor traps which I think are much better than Duffus traps. Quote Link to post
