6volt deben gun lamp

whats the best to get 6 or 12 volt....anyone use 6v

I have a 6v Deben Tracer Atom on my .22 rimfire. It does the job ok but the battery doesn't last very long - in reality around 30 to 40 mins of light time.

Can't fault it out to 70ish yards.

think i will get the 12v for more power, need to use it for about 5 hours on and off

Would 12v give you any longer battery life than a 6v though? I thought it just meant you get a more powerfull beam and battery life would be the same.

 

Ive a 6v logan lamp i use and it lasts forever. Although, its not very bright, so if i was getting one, id go for a 12v just to get a better range / beam.

beam range is not important for me as iam only close range shooting 10 - 40 yards its the battery power i need

 

how long will a 6v 4Ah batt last or a 6v 12Ah ????
