Panna 68
I think B&T and Russells don't match. The dog is either a Russell and than predominantly white with markings, or B&T and then it's fell. You want the dog, or you want a Russell? ATB, Anna Quote Link to post

I always thought russells where predominantly white. But this guy told me it was a black an tan russell. Ive never came across them before so didnt know anything about them. Just wanted to know what their temperment is like with kid and other dogs. Aswell as the background on the working history of the breed just. So do you think it would be a fell X russell? I think it is a mix. If you want it for work, then check the anchestors working, see if it fits to what you like from a terrier and take it or not. Good dog deosn't come in bad color. I think it is nearly unpredictible how a terrier will be with children and other dogs only by saying the type/breed. I know quite many Russells that are great with children and other dogs and also many that are quite the opposite. ATB, Anna Quote Link to post
Phil Harrison 0
It may be bred from some of the white lake lands some of the lakis were smooth coated and i mean the black &tans as well as the white ones i have tow dog pups there is a pic on my post one smooth one slightly broken coated the other were rough coated so it may be that a lot of johnny park dogs were smooth coated ATB Phil Quote Link to post

Guest AngelicAcid
Maybe a Lakeland russel, Fell russell or border russell. Quote Link to post
stormyboy 1,352
Definitely a crossbred. No such thing as a black&tan russell. If it does the job-none the worse. Quote Link to post
