Thread cleaned up.

The OP appears to be asking what you think of him as a Pest controller and what are his DVDs like for the money.

He is not asking what you think of him as a person. I'll leave it at that.

THANK YOU... THANK YOU... THANK YOU...

It seems these days you cant put up a post and get genuine replies without some idiots wrecking it.

well done to you sir for cleaning it up.

Thats what i thought,

suppose i could look good on camera if it was edited, do you think he calls a lot of TOWN FOXES that have been dumped in the countryside (i know its illegal to do so) I had a call from a farmera couple of years back regarding a fox problem, 1st night 9 / 2nd night 7, around 6 months later i sold a gun to a pest control supervisor who worked with Edinburgh City Council and he informed me that it was common practice to trap and remove FOXES from the city and release them out in the countryside exactly where this farm was !!!

And here was me thinking i was shit hot at fox calling, always wonered how i shot a fox on a fence line, retrieved it and decided to have a piss on the fence post only to jump in the truck and return to the top of the hill, only to find after i got back up there and have a quick look with the lamp, another FECKIN FOX sniffing the fence post where i had just had a leak, i shot it of course.

AND THAT IS TRUE...NO BULLSHIT

HIS ferreting films do my head in, i have never herd anyone shout and holla as loud as him evrytime a rabbit bolts, and this bussnes of trying to shoot bolting rabbits with a catty is fecking amaturish.

on the pluss side his films are well filmed most of his new ones are 2 hours long and have a contnts page at the begining,

i did like the night vision bit on nightime longnetting in one of the films, that was intresting.

all his latest films all seem to be the same, loads of travelers and campfire stuff ,

last of all his films are too expencive £26 + 2 post :icon_eek: and belive you me it dont cost that much to make them once you have the right cammera .

His early stuff was pretty good and helpfull but now i think he just churns them out for the cash and there not worth £28.50 and £1.50 p+p the last few seem to be made up of off cuts

[My wife bought me as a present a red deer stalk with him - I actually did not even see a deer which was just really bad luck and nothing to do with him - deer are not on tap. Pat is a true knowlegable countryman and good company, but please bear in mind he is sponsered by various manufacturers so his advice on equipement maybe somewhat biased.

Some of his videos are entertaining, although as said some look fairly amateurish running round like nuggets firing shot after shot at rabbits, but hey if it sells dvd's hes getting it right... love him or loathe him he's been around a bit and produced a lot of videos..
