Best Lamping Kit?

Hi, My Mrs is quite new to lamping but now comes out with me. The only problem is, she's using my kit and can't manage carrying the battery pack for long. Can anyone tell me what's the best lightweight kit available? Thanks is advance, Cheers

Does this one mounted on a waist belt or does it use a shoulder strap? Do you know how much they are? (thanks for your reply by the way)

yes you get a bag for it any belt fits,i put mine in my little game bag with drinks mars bars of cause my pen knife.lol i think your better off looking on deban website.someone in the west midlands do them for about 120 quid not sure who it is but i'll try and find out.atb

I have that Deben pack, fits straight into my barbour pocket. Its a great kit tho, i use mine with a Lightforce Blitz 240 Variable power .

Newb to the forum here.

I have the Tracer Atom on a CZ452 Varmint in .22LR. It's only 6v but is fine out to 70yds or so, and the battery pack hangs on your belt so is comfortable to carry. For lone rabbiting I find it ideal.

Hi mate buy your wife a Tracer battery i bought one because i broke my back and needed something light weight,its fab cost me £150 from deben best thing i have ever bought.I use a belt and dont know im carrying it i really can,t speak highly enough of it.Martin

I use a Streamlight TL about 1.5 hours run time if I leave it on in the back of the landrover

 

 

Then fitted on something similiar to this, although that is a TL3

 

 

It's light weight and gives me enough light you can even have different colour shades if that's your bag.

 

It's not big I know but then size isn't important

Martin, thanks for your recommendation about the Tracer battery. I might get one for myself.

Hassle, I think the idea of a gun mounted flashlight might suit her quite well actually, then she's not got to lug anything around or worst still MOAN

A friend of mine told me about a Tiablo A10-G. He does pest control all the time a reckons it's fantastic. Does anyone on here use one? He told me he bought it from Inovatech.co.uk Looks good, not cheap though.

I am a newbie just got my .22lr two weeks ago.I got last week LED LENSER P6 SPEED FOCUS TORCH cost £37 Brand new.Briliant for shooting up to 70 yards small torch about 5 inches but it does the job fine.It runs about two hours and only needs 2xAA Glowgadgets.co.uk
