Malt 379
What internet browsers are you using guys? Sometimes the older ones can't cope with more modern, text rich sites like this one. If you're using older ones, it might be worth downloading a new one like Google Chrome, Firefox or Opera safari.
higgins 75
i'm finding this annoying too, don't think we should have to change browsers just sort this out, last time i changed a browser i had no end of problems with IE and compatibilty issues. Also i'm finding the background TOO BRIGHT,have used the other options down below but doesn't darken it enough,me eyes are watering all the time now

lurchergrrl 1,441
Could be the screen resolution? Tomo it's time to get rid of the Commodore 64 mate ........ I find the background a bit bright as well - I agree it's hard on the eyes. The text on some threads starts off ok but by the time I get to the bottom of the page the text gets smaller and smaller I scroll back up and the top posts are fine ... strange. And I kinda miss the View New Posts feature. But otherwise, it's cool

The view new posts feature is still there, top right of the screen, 'View new content'.
SportingShooter 0
Guys, From what I know, this is just an update of the software which THL runs on, so called Version 3. The old look site was running on Version 2 and there is only a short time before that version goes out of date and the site will be slower and unable to be updated as they will stop releasing updates for the old versions. As Ian has said many times in the last few days, he is working on the place all the time, and this won't be the final look or the way in which is works, it is always changing and its a work in progress. He is busy with other things, the same as the rest of us are. It'll get there in the end. SS

Rainmaker 7
Only me liking it then? I think it's a lot cleaner and more functional, and it loads better too. Upgrade your browsers and plugins and you shouldn't have a problem.

John Keswick 119
It's most likely down to your steam powered browsers. I can't understand why on earth anyone would still use internet explorer, it's shit! Firefox is faster, more stable and doesnt have the unpredictability about it. It's nothing to do with the amount of text shown on a page, rather the ccs styling code that some older and shitter browers dont support.
