HAS ANY MEMBERS ON HERE EVER USED A JOHN ORR LONGNET,I HAVE SEEN HIS WEBSITE BUT IT JUST SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE,SO I THOUGHT I WOULD DO SOME RESEARCH FIRST

Ive just been on his site and ..well..he seems to be the man when it comes to longnetting..i must admit it aint the way ive been taught but maybe ive been taught wrong.....

Theres nothing special about his nets, there hand made Long Nets set on hazel poles, He recommends using a long run of cord and tying the footline up to the head line with a 1/2 granny knot and dropping it like a drop net.

on his site, click on prices and it says a 100yd net consists of 16 smaller nets?

hello trapper 123 i bought a 100yd longnet from john orr,im verry happy with it i also made up a quickset basket, it takes about 2mins to run out the net in total darkness and it is an excellent killer.
