Guest jt750
eg :- dam is 5/8 grey 3/8 collie x sire is 3/4 grey 1/8 saluki 1/8 deerhound What you do is round them all the common denominator which is the large number under the fraction 5/8 -3/8 x 6/8 -1/8 -1/8 find the common nunber which means all the numbers are even here its 16 10/16- 6/16x 12/16 -2/16 -2/16 add the common factors together which in this cross is the grey hound only 10/16+12/16= 22/32 6/16 2/16 2/16 thats the total fractions of the dogs crossed and divide by 2 gives you 11/16 greyhound 3/16 collie 1/16 saluki 1/16 deerhound hope this helps Edited November 10, 2009 by jt750
