Yes i agree dont think you read my post correctly i said A.M meaning say 9. and take the dog out at say 11 pm Thats 14 hours later the dog will of digested there food way before then.... I have feed my dogs at 6pm and worked them at 12pm... You cant flog them on a empty stomch.. But i would never feed a few hours before running.. Edited November 14, 2009 by Giro Quote Link to post

Most of my dogs always had a meal in the morning before a nights work, But iv had a couple that would not run with nothing in there stomach if you so much as gave the a round bread they would looup that night, So they had to be run empty, And if iam expecting company for a long nights lamping then a good fatty meal the day before and a small breakfast that morning and they will have pleaty in the tank to put in a real decent shift, I think its trail and error with them too see what suits you and the dog...
