No way to know for sure but they look like modern wolfhound crosses, I imagine that the the original wolfhounds taken over and used in the creation of the stag hounds/coyote dogs etc in the USA could well have been the original wolf hounds rather than the modern recreation. Its thought that they were about the size of a modern greyhound so basically a very different animal although large for the time.

Lol your lurcher self entered at 9 months, is it a lurcher or terrier fs... simple fact is lad your lurcher wont look at fox so maybe a wee drop of wolfhound in yours would do the trick... lol im at working dogs nearly 35 years, if seen and owned plenty of shite in that time believe me..but its knowing what to do when they don't make the grade...no world beaters here but they most certainly do there job or they wouldn't be here.

Believe it or not mate Your not that retarded are you mate I’m not a lad I’m a man ffs the reason I grade my own dogs honestly is because I know the difference between good an bad in the cross I keep if a dogs dirt I’ll grade it as so even if I bred the c**t Spay the dog an don’t work it again move on with a dog that can do the job required it’s that simple. no need to give it the hunting life I only keep real working dogs line because what you say on here is more than likely just talk in comparison to reality to please a crowd to try an fit in as a man that knows a thing or two
