I owned a wee bitch 10"tts great finder and grafter, sent her over along with a pup to one of you lads across the water she was out of a dog called Digger 3, the fellow still has her and no complaints!!

not what they were bud..had a few to enter for eddie along with some veterans to work..fortunate to work 'sport',tess,charlie,ernie amoungst the old school,sport was no doubt the finest terrier in the yard,other than "Rocky" the ban dog

don't pay to much attention to his line, I've had a few but the days are long gone since Rebel, Ratty, Dixy, Foxy, Spider... and they weren't his line. Someone else on here might tell you more about them.

Not wanting to take anything away from Eddy, good professional terrierman and he could dig like fcuk.

from what i understand these days he has both working and showing lines and one guy i know was moaning but pup proved its worth when matured

Ratty Dixy foxy etc were decent terriers by anyones standards but that was a long time ago

Over the years Eddie's name has cropped up in conversation with Nick Stevens and he holds the man and his dogs in very high esteem, he was a mentor to Nick and has probably dug more stuff than any one on the planet. :notworthy:

your right there busterdog..eddies a geniune man,although ive been out with him a few times,ive yet to see the man use a shovel.if they werent in artificials,they bolted.hes gone into the borders now too.. also had a handy brindle lurcher bitch the last time i was up there,must be 10yrs ago now..hes written some tidy books and deserves all respect unlike some others that have been at the game 1/4 thee time eddie has yet have written books etc..

hello all, just to say there are a few still being used,my dog vinny,bred by eddie did a season with the portman,and is a good all round dog,out of the digger 3 lines,you must remember eddies lines are bayers and not mixers,all the best dai.

would just like to had that i used a dog that eddie bred a cross my old bitch some five years back and the two pups i kept back out of them turned out to be some realy reliable first class finders and stayers the sayin goes that whats in the trunk will come out in the branchis . FORGOT TO HAD DOG I USED WAS OUT OF FOXWARREN DIXIE AND FOXWARREN COOPER V .
