iceman001979 1,316
many off us dont believe in this breed prop because we dont think off change in the lucher world off such a new breed off lucher prop alot off us still thing off the wheaten bull collie sualk etc as the perfect lucher fair play 2 u for trying out this new breed and l hope they work out for yea. l still think when breeding a dog they have 2 come out off two working dogs and not just greyhound bred over a fire place dog ( hancock) for example and l think your doing the same thing. l think a lot off ppl would have took your word but 8 weeks out catching rabbits 11 months killing big game come on.its not that they wont turn out 2 be good dogs but as they get older they will get alot heavy and wont even look like a lucher. propley down the line if yea breed one off the pups again with a greyhound and took the thickness out off them ppls minds will change but if there doing what you say they are doing then what ppl say on here does not matter. dai dogs if she goes and sees them working we could here for her if l could over just l would have took you up on your offer. do work all this dogs as a pack or will they do the job single??? we seen the pics try get vid up off them running or lamping because pictures dont tell the story. Whats the crack mate, serious you come on the site posting pictures of unfamiliar but nice looking young dogs just out of puppyhood, claiming that they have seen more work than most 2 year old dogs have seen, even thou we are not far into the season which must mean you have worked them all through the summer months on young game. They dont have a mark on them and they dont look particulary fit to me either. Youre extrvergant claims on a open forum regarding pups of a unproven breeding, is obviously going to create a mixed reaction and many people will obviously be doubtfull of such claims as it is only human nature afterall. You now say you have nothing to prove to anybody, but if that is correct then why post in the first place, not just photos of the dogs, but the extravergant claims so early in there working life ! come on fella what reaction did you actually expect to get from people, like i say i do like the look of them but imo they need line back to a greyhound and also other have said the same as me, not knocking the dogs atall. Now that people have asked to come down and see the dogs run, all of a sudden you have nothing to prove too nobody ! it doesnt make sense to me, anyway all the best to you and youre mate with the dogs as i say they do look useful dogs, but the proff is in the pudding. I like the look of them malamute crosses fella they look strong and game and like you say they may be pacey enough for what there running and where there running them, like i say hybrid vigour at work maybe ! i aint a bull x fan i dont follow the spiralling fashions of running dogs. I think if unfit had posted the pics but left out the working claims of the young dogs then this thresd may have been a bit more pleasant to read, good on him really for trying a different cross and thinking outside of the box, striving for improvement.
