George (the ferret boy) 15 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 My boy has just turned 5 and this is his second season out with the ferrets, he loves being out in the countryside, not just the ferreting but the whole being out thing, i don't think you can start them too young, but i would also never force them into it if they didn't enjoy it. StevoSmith 147 Posted April 29, 2012 Report Share Posted April 29, 2012 Get him out there mate and pass on your knowledge to him....he will then do same in turn to his young uns when he has them....my 7yo girl wont come hunting cause she is to girly and likes sparkles and pink but she will help with skinning and gutting and has even attempted to help pluck the pigeons i shoot and loves it......my son's of which i have a few love it....my eldest was in all sorts of crap till he went hunting....now i never see him he is out shooting on HIS permission which he got through me and loves it Quote Link to post Share on other sites
