Tallyho 181
I watched the fight last night , and was a bit dissapointed to tell the truth , i wanted to see a bit more fighing rather than the two of them skipping round the ring .
micky 3,325
its world champion mate, and to call either one champion is, an insult to the true greats, these two clowns were on a par with jack bodell or brian london, utter crap ,joe bugner ought to make another comeback and thrash the pair of them. OK clever cloggs, I'll re-phrase that and say A new British heavyweight champion of the world! The heavyweight division is in a dire state, but to put Haye in the league of Bodell and London would be to look back in rose tinted glasses. Them pair wouldn't fair any better in today's heavyweight division, and Haye would of smashed the pair of them in the same night. Brian london was a hero lol , i remember one of his fights , when all hell broke loose after he was nutted by his opponent a few times, good ol brian what an entertainer half the crowd was having a punch up in the ring, still makes me laugh thinkin about it, the wwf could learn a lot from him i saw a clip of brian london where he had just lost ,a bloke got into the ring shouting hard luck son you was robbed, brian put the crust on him ,and knocked him sparko
Malt 379
Glad we've got a new British heavyweight champ, but apart from that I'm a little gutted that I paid £15 for the 'pleasure' of watching the fight. Fair enough, Haye had to stay out of the way, hit and run, but I still feel that he should have got in and done a bit more here & there.
gnasher16 30,470
there was only ever goin to be one way BEFORE the fight that haye was goin to win and that was him getting on his bike and doin exactly what he did last night and he and everybody else thought he had a good chin but when haye hit him with a % hook he buckeled like a shitting dog , know bring on the rematch as valuev has nothing to loose and will go guns a blaze and haye knows he got a glass jaw so wont be as cagey ,i also think that the stuff about the broken hand is a load of bollocks and he is dissapointed in the way he won so he is looking for a cover up as at the end of every single round there was never a complain to boothey and i am sure if hed hurt his hand hed be saying and lookning for different tactics as to me he fought the same in the first as he did all the way through so no change at all and deffinatly no broken hand the only reason he didnt throw the right hand is because it takes longer to hit the chin that the left and he didnt wat to be staying round to see if it landed , i dnt really like carl froch but id put money on him stepping up and taking haye out , imho LENNOX LEWIS WOULD OF TAKEN THE PAIR OF THEM OUT LAST NIGHT "WITH ONE HAND" kev Was lucky enough to have good seats and was probably only 20 feet from hayes corner and every person within the same distance i was clearly heard haye say to adam booth " ive cracked my hand "...( exact words )...personally i dont think it was a break or crack but he did clearly hurt his hand.... I dont think haye should have got the decision myself but no doubt he landed the cleaner more telling punches and was never in trouble himself.....had haye showed a little more confidence in himself i think he would have stopped the russian.... As for carl froch fighting haye ..... froch wouldnt last a round, even if he did put a few stone on.... Personally im delighted haye took the title....thats 3 english world heavyweight champs in 100 odd years......thank god for london boxers eh ......that said i dont think he,ll get any change out of either klitchko ps.The new look of this sites f****n horrible !
