J Darcy 5,871
Touch wood i have not had one come undone..... May be a small piece of tape could help? I always tuck the end of the collar through the keeper ring and i think that helps. Maybe a different collar design is required? Quote Link to post

Beck 17
, Becky showed me last year and he says that on more than one occasion he has dug to just the collar. its happened a couple of times we had it with K dog buster again the other wk best way is to tape up the buckle to stop it releaseing which happens when quarry gets hold of collar end like i showed you busterdog Quote Link to post
Guest wurzil
I think the way around this is too glue & rivet some velcro to the collar . Or get some smaller dogs hahaha funny as fck Quote Link to post
Bryan 1,362
easiest way tae sort the problem........... buy the ortovox transmitter, an Strong Stuff will make you the collar you want, no mass produced shite tell him the lentgh an the width an even where you want the holes tae be put..... imo bellman an flint had better drip there prices or seriously improve there faults as it seems they got competition noo thats strong talk maybe if ortovox made there collar purposely for digging... casing and appropriate collar id buy them? i dont like nylon or velcro. and prefer to pay that few quid more for a collar thats purpose made for digging and have that extra 20 to 30 metres range for my ££.the price difference pales. ive never come across the collars coming off yet but hope it gets looked at. The Ortovox transmitter was always designed for digging, even if it was 20 years ago, The Germans are happy enough with the casing and transmitter to give a 5 year warranty? b+f still only give 1 year? Ortovox make they're own collar for the transmitter , but i reckon the Strong Stuff one is better. If this thread shows one thing it shows that anything can happen when digging. You don't like Nylon? Hard to imagine a better material for a dog collar. Bryan PS if you need extra range,Barryvox pulse is your only man Quote Link to post
