Somewhere it will say.

1.Over land that the shooter has permission or

2.Over land deemed safe by the chief constable.

1=open

2=closed

A closed ticket means you have permission to shoot over the land you declared on your application for a firearms certificate. And any other land that you ring up and check is cleared with you Fire arms licensing department.

And only the class of quarry you have listed.

If it is a .22lr or .17hmr that generally means ground vermin such as rabbits, crows on the deck, magpies on the deck, other animals on the general license classed as vermin and on the Ground..

If you have a centrefire, then the terminology is as you have put above.."in connection with estate management" and you have a suitable calibre, then it means fox and deer.

i assume you have a condition for expanding ammo?

If you want to shoot on new land, ring up you FEO, give them the address, if its passed..YES. you can shoot. But make sure you ring.

If it is not passed, they have to (in their time scale) come out and inspect it and give you an answer, but dont rush them!!

also says this the 17hmr rifle and 17 sound mderator and ammunition shall be used for shooting vermin and for zeroing on ranges or on land deemend suitable by the chief officer of police for the area where the land is situated and over which the holder has lawful authority to shoot.

The red bit means it is NOT Open!!

The Green bit is standard whatever, you always need authority to shoot on land!
