a kilo spool of spun nylon £8 will make about 15 nets

rings 10p each

 

to me its still cheep to get them off ebay around a quid each i no people say they want last at that price its ok and i got some off there 3 years ago still doing well to

 

 

and for a £1 each what nets are they

i bet there not spun nylon or poly

 

for a buck you will get 4/6z shite that snag on the thinnest bit of grass

I have 30 used nets selling on EBay at the moment. They are all 4z with 1" steel rings and hardwood pegs. Most of them are close to new. There are no bids on them and at £20 posted would be a steal even if I say so myself.

the only down side is they take me an hour each net

which some people can do in 1/2 hour

but im not that quick

 

and another bonus if you make them urself is that you can choose the colour

i make yellow nets

so i dont loose any

I agree best to make your own, its ever so easy once you know how. You can make lots as you want them. I make the pegs from hazel ash or whatever which is free and the twines cheap enough. I make the rings myself too. I don't know off hand how much I spend to make each net but its a lot less than buying them and they are better than the cheap nylon nets and they don't tangle often either. Give it a go. Good clips on you tube to shows you how.
