Peter Skellan 0
I was choosing between the Benelli M2 and the Beretta Xtrema. I went Benelli. 7 round FAC M2 with Comfortech stock to be precise. Love it. Put 300 cartridges through it and never a hiccup. So simple to clean. Light. Its the best gun I've ever shot. I did 70 shots in in 15 minutes this afternoon and my shoulder is absolutely fine. I've put all sorts of cartridge through it including some pretty light Clear Pigeon and it was fine. I cannot imagine anything better. PS Quote Link to post
rjimmer 4
I've never had a semi-auto, but always fancied a Remington 1100 gas-operated. Benelli Super Black Eagles are supposed to be reliable. We have an arab chap, who buys a day each year, he has all guns that were in Sadam Hussien's possession. He reckons the SBE's never jam on their 3-week desert trips. Don't know what they are shooting at! Quote Link to post
Deker 3,478
Looking at buying a semi auto are either of these any good Beretta AL391 Teknys (Wood X-tra) or Beretta Xtrema 2 Synthetic (Kick-Off) They are simply variations on a theme, down to what you want to do with it, and what you prefer, you will not go wrong with either! Never been a fan of the plastic (Xtra wood), but that has no effect on the performance!! Quote Link to post
provarmint 25
I use a Al391 Beretta Urika, never missed a beat, wouldn't bother with Extrema unless you need 3 1/2 inch performance, Benelli's are much easier to clean though, using inertia recoil to reload. Whatever you choose you won't be dissapointed with a Beretta or Benelli. PV. Quote Link to post
