advice on which crossbow or bow to get

Recommended Posts

Brilliant bit of kit if you like projectiles flying through the air at 200 mph+++++, but just what do you do with them after you buy one?

I've got one, brilliant for killing "big bales" :gunsmilie: and they are quite addictive when you start plinking at stuff, BUT if the bolt does and will come out of the back of your target, get ready to leave the country if it happens to hit anybody :)

I'll sell you mine if you like, you'll need a session or three on a multi gym first though as it needs re-assembling :drink:

hi im looking to get either a bow or a crossbow could somone tell me which ones to get for a beginner thanks

I have to echo the other posters,I'm afraid why would you want one?

I have two crossbow bolts in my conservatory,I found them on my permission, they were embedded in a dead swan, two weeks later "William Tell" killed its mate.

I would have liked to "interview " Master Tell , but sadly he has not resurfaced.

thats the one thing the government have got right........making crossbows illegal

they are barbaric and should never be used for hunting ( even in countries that allow it)

usless you can SAFLEY use one for target shooting........dont bother !!!

cheers

Some small-bore target rifle clubs have cross-bow ranges. Check out clubs in your area, talk to the guys who use bows there.
