hello all, i have recently been granted my FAC for a hmr + mod, so ive bought a cz, and sent away a letter to my feo informing of the gun details etc, went out today and bought a SAK moderator, now do i need to send another letter to my feo informing him of the moderator or is just having it on my license sufficient?

Cheers Andy.

when you bought the sak did the shop enter it on your ticket ie. does the mod have a proof mark or not. if not then technically its not for a firearm its for an air rifle ;)

The proof mark can be a bit of a red herring...once you screw it on a firearm, proof mark or not, it becomes a firearm and the police must be advised!
