s horsfield 7
hi lads , i've had this finder for about 1yr now, i changed the batteries in the locater and the transmitter about 2 month ago .Went to it the other day and the batteries are dead. What i want to know is do you take the batteries out of trans and locate or do you just switch off with the magnet, and is anyone else having anyprobs.I'll put some more batteries in and see how long they last, if they go down again i'll have to give Deben a call Quote Link to post
stubby 175
only use a mk3, but remove batteries every trip, Im sure I read somewhere that you should still remove batteries on a mk3m collar, the on/off facility was purely to save battery life whilst ferreting Quote Link to post

s horsfield 7
just posted it to Deben to get it checked out,as its still under warrenty. But i think when it comes back the batteries are coming out after every outing. If theres no batteries in they can't go dead. cheers lads Quote Link to post
