my old bitch died at 10 last week and never went near a show in her life. she proved her worth stopping tons of winter hares week in week out thats a bitch worthy of pups in my mind.

Its not the trophys or rossets that impress me its how good condition and well looked after this lads dogs and pups are.atb dell

Hi kev,Im sorry i havent got back to you about the pups,reason being is ive recently took on a little bitch which i found wondering about on her own one night during lamping so have five now so hands full,id just like to say dont get wound up by littleboy knownothing comments of some on here,truth is theyd like a dog to do well on a day out as well as in the field.Good luck with the pups mate,id find it hard to let any of them go,LOL.ATB John.

hard to put pup,s on here out off a non ped,,,,,but then u only have to look at country music / mo evil / son off a bitch / dennies the meannis/ sugar daddy / red ranger/ jack the lad ,,,,for brains master blaster / slipper,,,,,booker t - nice hare dog , brillant at bolting rabbits,,,,,,,bleive me guy,s the list goes on,,and on ( HARD BLOODS )

and on casino / hellbound,,,,feck me i better stop as i will fill the whole page with names ----

 

nice to see u adding extra blood to the lurcher world,, ( as we dont want to get like the kennel club and have health problems,,,,,,lets face it,,these non peds is as close as u cant get nowadys to the orginall whippet that made up the kennel club in 1891 or wotever the date was ,,,rabbit stoppers,,, if on the bigger side good hare stoppers , next to the greyhound and suliki,,,,( iam going to get some slating for this ,,,bring it on ,,,,,but iam open minded,,,i think all dogs are great at there job to a terrir to a deerhound,,there all great,,,,they all have there thing they bring to the table

 

 

in future after my dogs in my signature have done,,,i always facied gettin a lurcher next rather than a long dog,,,,,i quite fancy a beddy whippet or beddy grey cross ,,,but if i neeed speed and determation will add a non ped,,,just likebigland boy

i saw the first page. theres a massive great dog catching bolted rabbits.

im looking at getting a poodle and taking it to crufts next year. you put a silly face sticking fingers up at me. i bet your as quite as a lamb in the flesh.

you keep your fire side jooks.

ill only keep 100% working dogs.

Your absolutely right there is a big dog catching bolted rabbits does this not mean that the "massive great dog"?? has got early pace and agility?

You say you'll only keep 100% working dogs What do you do with your dogs in the summer when most of us who respect our quarry are leaving them in peace to reproduce, that's when were going to shows & game fairs proving what are dogs can do in front of a crowd. As I stated above the series of photos, at WORK,at PLAY,and LOOKING PRETTY shows are to show off your dog and have fun as well as helping to swell the pot for various charities and organizations on the local level.

Ive got a dog pup out of Fred,he's 11 1/2 months at the moment and coming on really well,hes a proper powerhouse and should be a good allrounder,seems to have loads of stamina and very keen without being to wreckless and his feet are some of the best ive ever seen on any dog[proven].

 

A lot of the lads who use Fred are trying to put a bit of pace into cross breds,Fred does that,but he gives them much more than that,i cant complain about anything with our pup,hes smart and his temprament is spot on,i know the Dam is part of the equasion but she isnt anywhere near the stamp of the bitch on this thread,would i take a chance on one of the pups? bet your arse on it.

 

And as for the big lad being after stud money LMFAO,he'll give you anything the blokes a diomond and knows more about dogs/breeding than most of us ever will.

 

Facts are Freds produceing top class racers and quality lurchers end of.

Hi Kev and Deb's,

Happy New Year to you both and give Gypsy a big hug from me.

To all that do not know Gypsy she is 100% a working dog,a real good alrounder,show ,race,course and of course a good hunter.

She is such a strong bitch and I had to hold on to her one year she nearlly took my arms out of their sockets.
