Just been for a walk with my 9 month old lurcher to look for a couple of nice warrens to ferret, while I was looking in some brambles all hell broke loose, dog was yelpping, from what I could see she was stuck, so I climbed under the bramble bush to have a look at her, but I have to say that I was'nt prepared for what happend next, there was me, the dog, and Mr Badger all staring at each other :o So there I am with my hand pressing down on my dogs arse to stop her kicking off, so I slowly slid the dog out of the bush behind me, there was only one way in and one way out, and the three of us wanted to use it, so dog out, I slid back and the badger backed down a little, but who would believe this, so I decided to take a pic to show folk, I took five altogether, three were ok, but the other two were a little blurred due to the Badger moving towards me, and me backing out the hole in the bush, so I've only put these three up, dog recieved a four inch long skin tear on her front leg, but apart from that she dandy.

That badger looks ill! :(

The Badger was fine, watched it waddle off into nearby woodland, think it was just caught out in the open.

It almost looks like its had a heavy night and didn't quite make it home! :clapper:

Glad your dog wasn't badly injured.

She's fine, just hope she's learnt her lesson, because now the fields have been cut, we get quite a few daytime Badgers waddling about :)
