Car v Roe Doe

Had to shoot a Roe Doe last night guys, some twat knocked it over and never even stopped hope there cars FECKED UP, back end was paralysed so had to phone police to inform them of my intentions as it was near a built up area and nowhere near my permission + i only had the 22/250 with me, bit noisy for houses near by.

I cant see how a car could not be damaged badly by that impact! It may have been a lorry who didn't even know it was hit

 

I hit a half grown fallow fawn a few weeks ago in my van, busted the radiator brackets, bumper plastics etc but it was still drivable enough to get me home that was hit at the back end and needed to be finished off with a knife in the atlas joint

Always up on always get an incident number!! and if you think the police need to be in attendance, ask for their co-operation, even it that means they need to set up a 300 yard road block!

The one right at the top of the neck where it joins the skull, not to be attempted unless the deer is pretty much incapasitated. I know a guy who tried it on a red stag that was still a bit lively and he ended up slashing his palm badly as the beast thrashed, not good 5 miles out on a hill!

It's good of you for stopping and putting the poor beast out of it's misery, if you hadn't and it made it to the hedge bottom god knows how long it would have suffered.
