HI all,

 

There be a strange new challange, Recent reports suggest that sightings of ferral Wallabies :icon_eek: l

in Kent are not that rare an occurance. :o Would these non native beasties be considered fair and legal game?

Personally only for the potential damage to our own ecosystem Id love to buy a load of racoons,coyotes and even wolverines and let them go in the uk to give us a bit more variety and up the anti on the dogs aswell :dance:

nothing new about them mate they have been about for years ...not having a dig ....just letting you know.... ;)

 

 

Bloody hell, never in all my years have i heard of them own here, :cry: It's just hit the media here too :blink:

They've been in Kent for ages and the media local to where I was always reported them getting knocked over on the main road....it all became a bit matter of fact.....and no, you can't run them.....and no, you can't run CWD either :D

Pest, invasive species or otherwise, the only mammals you can legally hunt are rats & rabbits.

 

This come up before, I thought you might be able to get round it because they were marsupials, but then JD reminded me that they still got tits, and are therefore still mammals! :doh::laugh:

i knew that they couldnt be run because they are classed as mammals but didnt know if hoppers came under the same law but CWD are classed as pest but can only be shot but when doing this you don t need a licence to hunt/take home game or deer

 

Christ yeah id eat it, Farmed ROO or WOLL is probably as expensive as red deer per lb
