dogvixen01 34
I AM THINKING OF FITTING A TRIGGER KIT FROM RIMFIRE MAGIC.HAS ANYONE FITTED ONE TO A .17 HMR .ARE THEY EASY TO DO YOURSELF AND WILL IT BE WORTHWHILE . Quote Link to post
njc110381 0
They're quite simple to fit. I found that you have to hit the pins which hold the trigger assembley pretty hard, it's good to have a block of wood with a hole slightly bigger than the pins you are trying to punch out so you can rest the gun on it when you're tapping it. You have to be quite confident, it took me a couple of attempts to find the courage to hit it hard enough to get the pins out! As for worth fitting, definately. It totally transforms the gun. If I buy another CZ452 I'll buy another kit at the same time. It makes so much difference for what it costs that I feel it's daft not to do it! Quote Link to post
andy s410c 61
As njc says they make a big difference when fitted. It's easily done but use the correct punches if you can.I put one in my Shilloutte .22lr 2 weeks ago & my 50yd groups came down to the size of a 10p as previously the trigger creep had the rounds spraying all over the place at that range. jamie g 17
How much is the kit?Anyone got a link? Cheers they are easy to fit just take your time. im sure the rimfire magic kits comes with leaflet to show you how to do it. i had the brooks kit which comes with 4 tubes and 4 springs. the rimfire magic kits doesnt come with all these im pretty sure. i think i read somewhere dave who is there [gunsmith at rimfire magic] said its because the 2 other tubes and springs in the brooks kit are not really safe. thats why they dont include them in there kit. i agree most people that have the brooks kits on really only use the 1s.t 2 springs and tubes. i tryed the others and the let off was to unsafe in the brooks kit. look here http://cz452.com/ your see here what to do. what ever you do dont take out the sear pin ! Deker 3,478
They are pretty straightforward to fit...someone put up a picture guide on here of how to do it a while back which was first class. Have a search through and hopefully you will find it somewhere I fitted the Brookes kit on mine but they are very similar! Quote Link to post

comanche 3,038
Fitted a rimfire magic kit a month or so ago. Went for the heaviest spring for safety-sake . Some might think £12 for three tiny springs and two bits of brass chenere is a bit steep -especially when you only use two of the items and chuck the others to the back of the drawer . Well worth it . My 30 year old Brno feels like a new rifle . Quote Link to post
