Out Digging Today

Well lads,

 

After last nights rain and floods it was looking dodgy early this morning.

I invited Scent off the site for a dig the 1st couple we tried nobody home.

We done a little bit of travelling and a little bit of thinking myself and lampman decided to go and try a couple of other holes....

 

 

Scent was very impressed with the last three holes, three holes.....three digs.

 

the last dig was a bit hard as it was under spruff and conacurr trees, the night before was telling on Scent as his stomach was upset... and he couldnt eat his dinner when we went home....

 

i would like to thank Scent for travelling up... but he wil have to travell up again some other time for a nights lamping..

 

we got 3 good fis at the end of the day,

Cheers Sounder he was at a loose end today so i asked him up for a days digging he wasnt in the best of form as the ole cans were starting to kick in.. but you know scent he will solider on...ive asked him up again for a nights lamping i know the roads long, but thats what its all about getting out, meeting new genuine people.. i think scent and his mates great bunch of lads. and as for sionnach terriers ive never seen anything like them.. its a credit to sionnach and scent and all the lads down there, they all do a very good job.

well done, you did alot better than us, woke up to pouring rain, so went out checking all the local places, what a fecking horrible day, , cheched many earths, all was empty, except one, it is a very bad earth my best terriers dam stayed in this earth for 3 days before showing, the lads dug about 5 meter for her but collared died luckly she was found a few days later on the way home, anyway we got ready with the gun, and enterted my patt x spaniel, she flew to ground, i tried listening for here but she was to deep, after abit i tryed to find her on the 15 foot bleeper couldnt pick her up anywere, so had to shout her out she had took a fair pasting 1/4 of her ear missing, pissed blood out all over,

God!! Sorry to hear about that, what locator have you got.. you should try the belmont and flint.. hope all the dogs are alright, dodgy earth

well what can i say it was a top day pal .The crack i had with yourself ,lampman and fox hunter jnr was brilliant.It was great to finally see your patts working and by god can they work.That second dig we had ,the place was massive and they bitch found straight away and welded to the game .You have some serious dogs there pal and they are a credit to you as is fox hunter jnr the human jcb ,by god he can shift clay .Thanks again for a top class day i really enjoyed the day and the crack

the bitch that stayed for 3 days was ok, very sore on her underside of legs and chest but was soon back to health, that was 2 year ago, the earth its self is a fecking big un, its in a wood that is very steep, and to make matters worse its solid chalk, when they was trying to dig the bitch out they used mainly bars, , my bitch is very sore this morning bit concerned about her ear, , with her being a patt x spainel she hasnt got alot of fire in her belly, but she will find anywere, alot of people wouldnt give the room for her in there kennels but she is perfect for what i need in a terrier, , am not sure what the lads was using when trying to get the bitch out, but yesterday we was using the 15 foot deben ( disco box ) i hate them but i havent got a locator system anymore, , had to sell up a while back, sold me terriers and bnf , , only just getting back into it, finding it hard thought we had two young dogs out wih us yesterday, both are showing great protential but its no good keep trying them in earths were nobody at home, dont want to put them off, so we finding it hard atm, ,
