Can anyone, please, recommend a cheap supply of spun nylon/polyester for nets. Or alternatively something that is a cheap substitute, and just as good.

dd timber products chilton advertise in countrymans weekly makes 15-16 4ft nets bright colours or dark easier to use than hemp real good stuff about £10 i think

I use spun nylon for my nets, it's the best. Get it from Bridport Nets. Red or yellow.

spun poly 500 gram for 9,95 is ok( bridport nets). i'm starting on hemp now.

if you order then take a few as postage is about a fiver.

Thanks for the info, I was hoping for cheaper but if £9.50 is cheapest then I'll go for that. Spun is the best for nets I've found, knots well and lays well.

Thats a good price. Doubt you are going to get it any cheaper.
